Big Animals in Paradise

Big animal encounters are just one of the many reasons why Tahiti is one of the world's top dive destinations. Verdant green mountains appear like precious jewels surrounded by the incredible hues of turquoise lagoons and the deep cobalt blue of surrounding seas. It is the life within these seas that has earned Tahiti a reputation as one of the world's best places for big animal encounters including whales, turtles, manta rays and a plethora of sharks. The Society Islands of Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora offer excellent diving for all levels of divers. The Tuamotu Archipelago (including Rangiroa, Fakarava and Manihi) offers adrenaline-pumping diving in passes and currents where the larger pelagics are often encountered.
